Trust is a good business practice, and we at Farmstop thoroughly believe in this. We would want to achieve this by being transparent in every step, starting with displaying our organic certification, our organic practices, techniques and methods. That helps us not just building faith in our consumers but also make the consumers feel safe about what they eat and also know how their produce is raised and harvested.
Farmstop organic farms is a 32 hectare (80+ acre) organic farms located in Ramasamudram in AP bordering Karnataka.
We have been practising organic farming for the last five years and are in final year for conversion from Aditi Organic certification. We use natural and organic methods and practices in our farms. Pesticides are made in house and are all animal and plant based and are effective in controlling pests and at the same time beneficial to the plants. Fertilizers are prepared, out of animal husbandry bi-products, dry compost, waste decomposers, etc..
We encourage farmers to take up organic farming by supporting them in understanding the technical know-hows and nuances of preparing pesticides and fertilizers, this is done without any charges and sheerly out of a passion for organic farming, thus creating a sustainable planet.
